We are one

In my last post, I wrote "I am all, and all is me".  What does this mean to me?  I am currently reading a book entitled "Earth Prayers From Around The World- 365 Prayers, Poems and Invocations For Honoring The Earth".  Maybe currently reading is a little misleading, because as the name implies, this will be a year long effort.  I'd like to quote a Navajo chant from the first "chapter" of the book:

The mountains, I became part of it...
The herbs, the fir tree, I became part of it.
The morning mists, the clouds, the gathering waters,
          I became part of it.
The wilderness, the dew drops, the pollen...
          I became part of it.

This to me says it all.  There is no dichotomy, no separation of me and it.  There is no separation of me and all I see, feel, hear, smell and touch.  No, these are all me; and I them.  The stars, the ether, the clouds passing across the sky, these are me.  I am the rock on the shore of the river, I am the river.  To separate "me" from "all" is totally foreign to my heart. I might have mentioned previously that my friend commented on a previous post to say he envisioned himself as the wave.  His actual words were:

"I consider myself a wave in the ocean. There are many waves, each wave represents a living being. Some waves are tall, some small. All are part of the whole, all are part of the ocean.

We are all part of this Universal Ocean and therefore WE ARE the ocean, albeit, just a wave for some time, before we return to the whole, the ocean."

This says it in such a beautiful way; I thank him for this.  My point here is that I cannot see myself as a single solitary entity.  I am all, and all is me.  This is probably the most fundamental belief I possess.  I can never underestimate the magnitude of this concept, for all other beliefs are based upon this foundation.  More so, the beauty I see in my world, the excitement I speak of, the gratefulness, these are all resting on this foundation.  My spirit guides and I share the knowledge and wisdom of all because we are one. But most of all, I am one with my Creator.  This is my world, and I am so deeply grateful for the ability to see it.
